User Unable to View Navigation Dropdown Pane in Apliqo Dashboard

Hello,

We are experiencing an unusual issue with one of our users who has the appropriate access rights (UX Consumer) to the Apliqo UI Dashboard. The user can successfully connect to the Dashboard, but the Navigation dropdowns pane (see highlighted area in attached snapshot) is not visible.

Troubleshooting steps already attempted:

  • Cleared browser cache to rule out cache-related issues

  • Tested across multiple browsers - issue persists in all of them

Environment details:

  • Apliqo Version: 2024.09 FP2

  • User Security Group: UX Consumer

The user has confirmed access to the dashboard itself, so this appears to be specifically related to the navigation dropdown visibility rather than a general access problem.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? What could be causing the navigation dropdowns to not display for a user with proper access rights?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The question is what other security groups is the user a member of? The access to apps and screens is not necessarily controlled by the UX Consumer group. It would seem likely by what you describe that app access is managed in other groups where the user is npot a member.

The User is part of the required security groups like any other users but still facing this issue.

Is this the same case as described in this ticket? If so a fix will be provided in 2024.09.FP7.

The local workaround until the fix is applied is to ensure the element principal name in the }Clients dimension doesn’t contain any apostropohe.

Thanks for the suggestion.
