Setup wizard for 7.2 not visible

I installed Pulse 7.2 and I am unable to login to the URL http:/localhost:8099 with the regular admin/pulse pwd. I’ve tried admin/admin admin (blank pwd), nothing works. I just need to acess the setup wizard to configure the newly installed 7.2 system.

What is the default credential for Pulse 7.2?

Have you tried this,

Reset the Pulse Admin Password - Pulse Installation and Configuration - Confluence

As for the setup, there is a flag in the database to trigger that though for this case, that might be a lot more work to do for you as there are only a few pages in the wizard and all of it are accessible without also going through the Wizard.

You can just go directly to the Configuration page for example and update from there the email and login of Pulse for example.

What information would you like to update?

Thank you so much for the prompt response. I tried the steps mentioned in the link, still the same issue. This a new 7.2 install (centralized server) and I want to configure everything like email, alerting, adding a new TM1 server etc.

By any chance, do you happen to know the link to open a ticket with Cubewise support?

Hi @rraghavan ,

I think your local Cubewise contact is Andrew Leighton @aleighton , he will contact you, reseting the Pulse password should work.

  • Stop Pulse App Server
  • Set Reset = true in Pulse.cfg
  • Start Pulse App Server

Once Pulse started you should be able to login with Admin, pulse
