Question about Arc / Slice requirements and performance.

Hello team, good afternoon.

Currently, we have a client who is starting to use Slice in their business, but we have one question about the performance of their installation.

They would like to have Arc installed in one unique server and centralize everything from there, but here is the thing, they have at least 6 major servers with multiple tm1 instances on each one and (on average) 3 TB of RAM utilization on each server. Also, they are planning to use Slice for 3.800 different clients.

The main question is, how good is this approach of one unique Arc installation for a situation like this in terms of performance?
Then, what would be the server requirements (For Arc) to achieve this if we want (or can) to have it in one unique server?

Thanks in advance for your prompt response on this matter.

Eloy.

Yes, one centralized Arc server is the recommended setup. When using Arc, most of the work is done by the web browser. The Arc server is the bridge between the TM1 server and the web browser. Even though everyone will be connected to the same Arc server, most of the work will be done either on the TM1 server or each web browser.
