Pulse Monitor install only on RedHat

Is it possible to install only the Pulse Monitor on a RedHat machine? The default Linux Pulse install routine installs everything.

It’s not really an issue that all components are installed since they don’t take up much disk space and don’t consume any resources if inactive.

After the installation script just ensure only pulse-monitor service is active and the other 3 services are all inactive (pulse-server, pulse-opensearch, pulse-dashboards).

Hi @dwatts,

Alternatively, you can also just run the sudo sh pulse.sh install monitor file to install the Pulse Monitor component only.

What @cw-ch-scott has mentioned works too (thanks!).

Cheers,

Paul

you can always re-deploy the monitor.bin from one installation to another, for better results install under the /opt/ so you do not have to deal with the SELinux settings.

Kind Regards,
