If you want to know which tool your users are using to connect to TM1 then this is easy, you can look at the Context field in Pulse as it is explained here:

Hi Nicola, Even though it is not possible from Arc to see who is using Arc. You can use Pulse to see all users who used Arc to connect to TM1. Then if you want to see at the object level, which view, subset or process is used then this will be only possible for customers using Arc and Slice with Pulse.

As explained in the following article, when ** pulse tracking** is set to true, each time an object is opened in Arc and Slice, Arc and Slice will send the information into Pulse.

Connecting Arc to Pulse

In order to track which object is used, the tool needs to send the information to Pulse. As we can’t tell PAfE or PAW to send this information, object usage tracking will only work if your users are only using Arc and Slice.
