Pulse – Can we view dimension elements (not via ARC)?

Hi Community,

In Pulse, is it possible to view dimension elements directly (e.g., browse/search elements and hierarchies) without using ARC?

If yes, could you please share:

  • where this is available in the Pulse UI, and

  • any prerequisites (permissions, configuration, Pulse version, TM1/Planning Analytics version)?

Context: I’m looking to see dimension elements in Pulse, not in ARC.

Hi @Pawan ,

To see dimension elements in Pulse, you need to turn on Source Level for each dimension: https://cubewisecare.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/pulseusermanual/pages/584319030/Source+Level

Once Source Level is active for one dimension, Pulse will start tracking changes and store information in Pulse documentation.

Hi Vincent,
Thanks for the guidance. We’ve enabled Source Level as suggested, but we still can’t view dimension elements in our Pulse instance. I’m unable to attach a screenshot here, so I’ve raised a ticket in CARE-UK for follow-up.
