Hi,
Our client reported Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable is out of support and is asking us if they can remove it, so we would like to confirm if it is still part of the requirement in the latest version of Pulse(6.5.2), if it’s not then we can suggest our client to upgrade it.

Thanks.

Hi @vhsieh ,
That is normally used by Pulse’ Thick Client. But if that is not being used, then yes, you can safely remove it.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi @plim ,
Is it the same for Pulse v5&v6, they can remove it if they don’t really need to use Pulse client.
Thanks.

Hi @vhsieh ,
That is only for Pulse v6 - v5 is possibly a different matter as the Pulse Monitor is in .NET.
Plus, we would recommend for customers to upgrade to Pulse 6 instead.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi @vhsieh ,
The Pulse Thick Client and .NET in general is planned for removal from Pulse installation in one of the upcoming releases.
