Hi all,
I’ve put together a TM1 Fitness Rating: an A to G grade for a TM1 / Planning Analytics instance, the idea is to give a rating of a TM1 application. It is built from Pulse MCP data and combines two scores:
- Runtime fitness (60 pts): availability, memory headroom, wait time, process reliability, CPU, backups and monitoring
- Model fitness (40 pts): standard libraries like Bedrock, references to missing objects, orphan dimensions, idle and test code
The rating is capped at E if there is a red flag (memory peak at 95% or more, a missing backup, or uptime under 99%). Each rating page explains why the instance got its letter and lists the actions to reach the next one.
The criteria, weights and thresholds are only suggestions. They live in the tm1-fitness-rating skill, so feel free to adjust them to match your own experience or a client’s standards, then share your version of the skill back so we can refine it together.
I defined the criteria quite quickly, so they definitely need fine-tuning. It would be great to get feedback from the developers in the field, and even to set a standard so everyone rates instances the same way.
