New tab is opening when click on pulse icon in v7.3.0

Hi Team,

When we click on pulse icon , a new tab is opening automatically in v7.3.0. There was no issue in v6.6.0.

Below are the console output after opening the urls.

v6.6.0

There is no target=“_blank”.

Clicking the logo stays in the same tab.

v7.3.0

The only functional difference is:

target=“_blank” – please review this behaviour at your end and confirm us.

Hi @janardhan,

Two things of note here,

  • We are not able to replicate that behaviour in any of the modern browsers we have tested so far
  • That attribute you have highlighted was added last year

You might be using an older/outdated browser. Do you mind sharing the version of browser you are using? And can you also try to open / access it via more modern browser to confirm that it is working as per normal on a new one?

On the other hand, can you help create a ticket for the second one so we can address it from there. That looks to be something that can be adjusted as it seems to be giving different behaviour depending on the version of browser.
