Multiple Internal NextGen services require license

Hi

We currently have numerous POC requirements and need to implement data isolation for UX NextGen projects. For this reason, we have deployed multiple apliqo-api and apliqo-spa containers. This means we have to apply for a new internal-use license every time we create a new container. Is there any solution to avoid repeated license?

Hi Carson

The fingerprint is based on the environment (Linux host) and not the individual application.

So as long as you are running multiple sets of spa, api and mcp containers on the same Linux machine then you could upload the same license file to all.

If you are isolating in separate host then you need a separate license.

Hi

I currently run multiple containers for API, SPA, MCP and other services on a single Linux server. However, I now have to apply for a separate license for each service to make them work. This issue started occurring in version 2026.04, while version 2026.02 worked exactly as you described.

Hi Carson,

There has been no change to licensing implementation from 2026.02 - 2026.04.

Our conculusion is that difference in fingerprint and license file is most likely due to how the webapp was created - wither by deploying a fresh template or from copy/paste of existing app on the same server.
