Pulse has a license optimisation report which you can use to know who is using your TM1 application. If you have users who are accessing Cognos BI reports based on TM1 cubes, they will be tracked as well.
Pulse does not care if the users are accessing the TM1 cubes with Perspective, PAX, PAW, TM1 Web or Cognos BI. If there is a connection to TM1, it will tracked by Pulse.
If your Cognos BI report is based only on SQL database, users accessing this report won’t appear in the license optimisation.
