Canvas Invalid License Error

Hi,

I have just installed Canvas on a client server.

It successfully runs AW that comes in the installation.

But when I try copy an existing application to the webapp folder it is giving me “INVALID LICENSE. PLEASE REPORT THIS TO YOUR ADMINISTRATOR.”

How can I resolve the error ?

Hi @wlee,

After copying the webapps folder did you restart the Cubewise Application Server?

Here some instruction how to create a new application: Create a new Canvas application - Cubewise CODE

Did you request the license? Each server needs its own Canvas license.

hi @Vincent,

New installation, does it come with 30 days trial ?
The application folder is copied from a server which the trial has expired.
I am copying the folder to the new installation webapp folder.

So you are copying a folder from an old webapps folder to the new webapps folder in a new server, am I right?

If yes, you need to make sure that the folder coming from your old webapps server was using the same Canvas version. If this is not the case, you will have to rerun the installer to upgrade your old webapps folder,
