Canvas Export to Excel as xlsx format

Hi there,

At the moment, the export to Excel function from Canvas seems only allow to export as .xls, but nowadays most Excel format are xlsx already.

If we want to export as xlsx format, how do I do it?

Hi @tryan,

From the scope of Canvas, nope.

But customer asked why not .xlsx, as that’s the common Excel format today, and they may use the export to produce other custom analysis, they do not want those custom Excel analysis to be on .xls format.
