Is there a way to re-set the Canvas Admin password for servername:8080/admin on an existing installation?

Client has ‘misplaced’ it

Hey @iboltz,

The way we have resolved this in the past is to create a new instance, and just copy across your bespoke items from html, css, js, and web-inf folders.

Then the password is reset to default.

Find security.json file and replace an encrypted password with blank string (i.e. “”). You can even add another admin user as well. WEB-INF\config\security.json
