Cancel Thread User Credentials

What account does pulse leverage to cancel long running threads (as set up in the alerts). Is it the account set up on the documentation page?

Does this user need to be an admin or can they be in the new Operations Admin Group

Hi @rdclapp,

No credentials are needed to cancel a thread.

@tryan how is that possible the cancellation operation requires you to authenticate as an admin (TM1Top, TaskKill, or another legacy tool).

Based on some initial tests the user specified on the documentation page needs to be at least an operations admin to have the cancellation work.
