Hello,
We’ve got a user who have a password containing a “è” and he was not able to connect to any TM1 server through Arc but at the same time he’s able to connect through PAW, PASS and even the good old Perspectives.
Any idea on how to solve this ?
Regards,
Robert
Hi Robert,
I can reproduce this issue in our lab, it is probably a limitation in the library we are using. We are planning a new release soon, we’ll see if we can include this fix.
As a short term, your user will have to update the password to not use “è” character.
Cheers,
Vincent
Hi Robert,
This issue is fixed and it will be included in the next release, we are targeting a new release this month.
Cheers,
Vincent
Thanks a lot for the reactivity and glad to see you’ve identified it as a bug.
Hi Vincent,
I experience the same issue in 4.3.0 with password iV~VZu:m-bc6:p?7]RM
Therefore I updated the password and it now works.
Kind regards,
Luc
It’s fixed for the next release.
Same issue happens with Turkish characters but not limited to password. Usernames including ş
Ulaş Bozkurt
also causes issues when logging in with Arc.
Thanks @Ulas appreciate the report. We’ll check the username too.
