Arc - Keep settings, favourites and history when deleting cookies

Hi,

with Chrome when deleting the browser history (including cookies) all settings, the favourites and history are cleaned as well. Is there a way to delete the browser history and keep all the settings?

Hi Alex,

This is not possible through Arc but it sounds like a good enhancement. Could you please raise an enhancement request: Issues · Cubewise CODE / Arc and Slice · GitLab

In Arc v4.0 and above, there are Export / Import buttons on the User Preferences dialog.

You can export your settings to file, delete the browser LocalStorage, then import the file you exported. This will ensure your settings are retained.

Note that this does not include the history, as we consider that a “point in time” piece of data and not a user preference.

If you’d like to be able to export history separately, or think the feature can be enhanced, please create a separate ticket on the support site.
