This post is for Pulse 5 only, with Pulse 6 you don’t have to install Elasticsearch and Kibnana as the Pulse installer will do it for you.
Kibana is an opensource data visualization tool provided by the elastic team. With Kibana, you will be able to build quickly your own dashboard on top of the Pulse data. It is very quick to setup and very intuitive to use, a quick introduction such as this video below will help you to get started with Kibana.
